My Story
I’ve always enjoyed helping people, particularly women and teens. I believe so much in each individual’s potential to live an authentic experience, that in 2010, I started a student mentoring program. In 2011, I started a maternity program for women. I opened my first home for pregnant women in crisis situations to include homelessness and abandonment.
In 2011, I quit my full-time job to operate and manage Carried To Full Term. I spent the first three years prior to opening and operating Carried Top Full Term, speaking to Directors successfully managing a home of their own. I also did countless hours of research, I filed all the paperwork to start and launch my business without an attorney. I didn’t have an attorney review all paperwork before filing. Not only am I adept at understanding the process of filing and meeting the requirements to start, own and operate a business, I also took it a step further, to meet the requirements for qualifying to become a charitable organization.
In June, it would be three years since operating Carried To Full Term. About a year ago, I started getting requests to share the story of how I started the program and how our home has been instrumental in literally transforming the lives of the women admitted. After several months of meeting one on one with women in the community outside of the program, I’ve decided to start a career as a speaker. Additionally, I published my first book titled, Wholeness and Restoration to help women address their hurts to transform their lives.
In the last several years since starting Carried To Full Term, I’ve been fortunate to speak to audiences at various events. This year, I’ve developed the ‘Awakening your inner Warrior” Initiative to help women heal from the hurts of their past. My goal this year is to speak to women at larger conferences to empower women to overcome the past.
Recently, I’ve started the Be Bold and Courageous Podcast and help other women start their business, heal from their past and empower them to transform to live or more authentic experience.
